Dr. Nathalie Starkey

Dr. Nathalie Starkey is the owner and founder of The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from NOVA Southeastern University ‘15 and became credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as board-certified clinical orthopedic specialist (OCS) in 2020.

She has extensive experience with treating patients that are healing from old/new surgeries and acute / chronic injuries that have limited the ability to return to what is loved such as an active lifestyle or picking up a grandchild. Through prior experiences, she performed in commercials that she designed to help educate patients on trending orthopedic topics such as Foam Roller Exercises and proper squatting techniques to help reduce risk of low back pain.

Dr. Starkey also has experience hosting seminars to educate staff members on Work Desk Ergonomics, Ways to Reduce Stress at Work, Exercising at Work Without Gym Equipment, and How to Reduce the Risk of Developing Neck Pain. She has a thirst to educate others on how the body works and is captivated by the concept that if the body is exposed to the appropriate physical demands it can naturally heal itself. She is also a APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and has helped educate becoming physical therapy students from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Dr. Starkey has authored a case study regarding the Physical Therapy Management of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome to help student training on clinical rotations. Dr. Starkey is an active member of the the APTA. Currently, Dr. Starkey is pursuing a certification in dry needling (DN).

What Our Clients Say

"I threw out my back exercising and reached out to Nathalie to see if she could help. She was very accommodating, offering to come to me since I couldn’t even walk. She asked me a series of questions over the phone for an initial diagnosis and so she would know what to bring with her. Nathalie was extremely knowledgable, performing several exercises and providing follow up work to ensure I fostered my back to health. After her visit, in addition to having instant relief and being able to walk again, she was also very diligent with her follow up. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is in pain and needs physical therapy."
